Piccalilli is a traditional type of pickle that dates back to the 18th century when it was called Paco-Lilla or 'Indian Pickle'. There are a number of global variations but British Piccalilli normally features cauliflower and a mix of other vegetables, with turmeric and mustard as the principal seasonings.
Halzephron's Cornish version is no exception and can be used to accompany sausages, bacon, cheese and all sorts of cold meats. It works particularly well with ham.
Suitable for Vegans.
