The Field Car Park at Heligan
The Field Car Park at Heligan is the car park which is adjacent to Lobbs Farm Shop and which has been used by the Lost Gardens of Heligan for many years as their overflow car park.
As from the 6th May 2025, new parking arrangements and charges for the car park will come in to effect and are detailed below.
Parking Charges
- Pay on Exit – the machines accept cash or contactless payment
- Parking Charges:
- First hour is Free
- Over 1 hour to 2 hours - £2.50
- All day to 6:30pm - £3.50
- Evenings 5:30pm – 11:00pm - £2.50 (Flat charge)
- Season Ticket* (1st March – 31st October) - £20.00 (Annual charge)
- Lobbs Café customers can enjoy up to 3 hours FREE parking, subject to a minimum spend.
- FREE Annual parking permits* available for Lobbs Farm Shop and Lobbs Café customers living in the PL & TR postal codes just by doing their regular shopping, subject to a minimum spend.
* Please note that Season Tickets and Annual Parking Permits apply to a single vehicle registration plate only.
Daytime car parking charges will be FREE from
1st November - 28th February.

FAQ
When do I pay?
The machines are a pay on exit. If you are visiting the Gardens next door, you can enjoy your visit and once you are done and ready to leave, enter you registration plate at the machine. The machine will then calculate how much to charge based on the time you have been parked.
How does it know how long I’ve been parked?
An ANPR camera will have picked up your registration plate on entry. An ANPR camera will also log the exit time.
I’ve only done a quick shop do I need to pay?
The car park is free for the first hour enabling visitors to the Farm Shop time to do your shop. Visitors who have been in the carpark for less than an hour can leave the carpark and do not need to use the machines.
What about if I go to the Farmhouse Kitchen Café?
Visitors to the Café at Lobbs will be able to enter their registration which will give an extra 2 hours of free parking. In total allowing 3 hours. This is based on a minimum spend and sitting in.
