Delivery Policy

Pre-Christmas deliveries

Please note that from 1st December 2023 we will not deliver by carrier to addresses outside Cornwall.

Due to the substantial increase in their pre-Christmas workload, our carriers can no longer guarantee next day delivery, which is essential for perishable goods such as meats and chilled or frozen goods.

At all other times of the year

Delivery Options

We offer a click-and-collect service so that you can arrange to pick up your order in person, a local delivery service for a limited number of postcodes, or a national delivery service. Please note that some products are only suitable for collection in person and local delivery.

Local Delivery Zone Charges:

We operate a local delivery service for areas within our 'local zone' where we will deliver using our own vans. The cost for this service is £5. Postcodes within our delivery zone include: PL24, PL25, PL26 & TR2. To qualify for local delivery, orders should be a minimum of £30. Please see delivery schedule below for more information.

Nationwide Delivery Charges:

£15.00 including VAT. These charges are for UK mainland only - there will be an additional shipping cost for other than UK mainland and delivery may take longer to non-mainland addresses. Orders over £100 are carriage free.

For small orders of non-perishable items we are happy to send via Royal Mail and charge you for actual cost of postage & packaging. Please ring or email to check.

Delivery Schedule

We will notify you of your delivery date via email once your order has been processed.

Delivery charges are as above.

Delivery is free for orders over £100.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that they make arrangements to receive the goods ordered on the day specified. Any alterations to the delivery date must be by mutual consent, the revised date will be confirmed by Lobbs Farm Shop.

Our courier service will endeavour to deliver on time but current circumstances are causing some disruption to all national courier services.

Where an order is not received by the specified time please contact us within 24 hours so that we may track your delivery.

Guarantee

We guarantee that all the meats supplied to you are processed in our fully licenced premises.

We hold a full butchery licence at our premises.

All the beef and lamb sold in our shop is born and raised on our own farms, being fed on all home produced feeds.

All our beef is hung for a minimum of two weeks.

We cut our meat to a high specification. It is vacuum packed on the day of dispatch and placed in sealed insulated boxes for maximum freshness.

If in the unlikely event any meat arrives with the bag seal not perfect, please re-bag and use within 24 hours or freeze for use later.

In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with our products or services please contact us immediately.

Any discrepancies should be notified within 24 hours and will be dealt with under UK law.

Remittance

You will be asked to enter credit card details at the secure checkout of our online shop.

We do not charge for any items until they are ready for dispatch.

If you prefer place your order by telephone, we can take your remittance details during your call.
