The first ever tea produced on British soil, Tregothnan's Classic Tea is their longest-serving and best-loved tea blend. Their first harvest from the Tregothnan tea gardens in Cornwall in 2005 weighed in at just 28g. Production has grown substantially since then to make a unique range of teas. Their Classic Tea is blended with premium Assam leaves to give it the bold flavour synonymous with a strong, classic English cuppa.
The tea bags are 100% organic, plastic free and compostable.
To brew, use filtered or bottled water just off the boil. Brew for 3 to 4 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea – Tregothnan suggest 3 minutes of steeping time before tasting. Classic Tea can be served with or without milk and sweetened with honey or sugar to taste.
