The bovine equivalent of a rack of lamb, Forerib on the bone is a real beef-lovers joint. The meat has good marbling throughout, the layer of fat on the outer surface and the inclusion of the bone provide both taste and succulence for a superb roast. Cooking from room temperature in a hot oven, the result is beefy heaven on a plate.
