Originally formulated for Tremethick Brewery’s in-house ‘Oktoberfest’, this Altbier ('old beer') has become a favourite all year round. This style of beer is typical of those brewed in Germany's Rhineland, particularly around Düsseldorf, and made using Vienna malt. Tremethick’s version is lightly hopped, malty, and 'export' strength.
