Cheese - Blue Mooon

Blue Moon (Previously known as Helford Blue), handmade at Treveador Farm Dairy in Helston, is a soft, full-fat, creamy artisan blue cheese with a rather variable blue vein, encased in a beautiful, colourful, edible blue-grey rind. Treveador suggest that the cheese has a 6 week shelf life and the longer the cheese matures, the greater the depth of flavour.

Prized by chefs in Cornwall and around the UK, you will find it on many a top end restaurant cheeseboard. Little wonder, as Helford Blue was awarded gold at both the World Cheese Awards 2014-15 and at the British Cheese Awards in 2016.
