Lobbs Farm Shop Autumn Fest Pumpkin Picking 2021

Autumn Fest: Sat 23rd – Sat 30th October 2021

It’s time for our annual pre-Halloween Pumpkin Picking event for kids and their families here at Lobbs Farm Shop.

Running on the 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 29th & 30th October 2021 with 5 time slots available each day. Just select your preferred date and time slot when booking. Booking details are given below.

What’s included?

A tractor and trailer ride from the farm shop down to the pumpkin field and back.
The pumpkin of your choice from among the hundreds that we have in the field to take home and carve. We have quite a variety this year, including some beautiful white ‘Ghost Pumpkins’.
Our hay bale photo booth for you to take the perfect photo with your freshly picked pumpkin!

We’ll have mini tractors, trailers and wheelbarrows on hand to help you carry your pumpkins (or just to get muddy on!) and an enclosure for you to get up close to some of our young lambs from the farm.
As a bonus, every ticket holder can drop into the farm shop for a free Halloween-themed cupcake on the day and will receive a 10% discount voucher for the family to use in Lobbs Farm Shop any time up to the end of November 2021. We also have 3 mini hampers to be won for the best photos taken at the event!

Tickets

Tickets are £7.50 each. You’ll need one ticket per pumpkin picking child – accompanying adults go free. As there is limited seating capacity on the trailer ride, we may have to limit places on the trailer to one adult per child or group of children. Additional adults are welcome to walk the short distance from the shop to the pumpkin field.

Parking

You can park anywhere in the large, free car park adjacent to Lobbs Farm Shop itself.

Covid-19 precautions

The event is almost entirely outdoors and the trailer is very well ventilated. For the wellbeing of all participants, we suggest the use of face coverings by adults whilst on the trailer. Hand sanitiser will also be available on the trailer and in the photo booth area.

Things to remember

Even though this is Cornwall, the sun doesn’t always shine, and so we suggest that you keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly, and bring wet weather gear just in case. The pumpkin field can be muddy and wet, so wellies or stout footwear is strongly recommended. The ground can also be very uneven underfoot, so may not be suitable for those with a disability. We cannot, for access and safety reasons, cater for wheelchairs on the trailer. Pumpkins can be very large and heavy, so to help you or your children get them home safely, we suggest that you bring along some robust shopping bags to carry them.

From all at Lobbs Farm Shop, we look forward to seeing you!
